SUBA 멘토에게는 어떤 활동 혜택이 있나요?
What benefits are available to SUBA mentors?

SUBA 멘토에게는 프로그램 활동에 필요한 식비·입장료·물품비 등의 활동비가 지원됩니다. 프로그램 수료자에게는 ‘지역사회와 봉사’ 2학점이 인정되며, SUBA 수료증이 발급됩니다.

활동비 지원 범위와 신청 방법, 수료를 위한 세부 활동 기준은 해당 학기 모집 공고 및 활동 안내를 확인해 주세요.

SUBA mentors receive support for program-related expenses such as meals, admission fees, and activity supplies. Mentors who complete the program receive two academic credits for “지역사회와 봉사” (Community and Volunteer Service) and a SUBA certificate of completion.

외국인유학생은 SUBA 멘티로 어떻게 참여하나요?
How can international students join SUBA as mentees?

재학 중인 외국인 학부생과 교환학생은 모집 기간 내 멘티 모집 공고에 안내된 별도 구글폼을 작성하여 신청할 수 있습니다.

해당 학기에 신규 입국한 외국인유학생(학부생·교환학생)은 별도 신청 없이 SUBA 멘티로 자동 참여합니다. 참여 및 활동 안내에 대해 궁금한 점이 있으면 센터로 문의해 주세요.

Current international undergraduate and exchange students can apply by completing the Google Form provided in the mentee recruitment announcement during the application period.

Newly arriving international undergraduate and exchange students for that semester are automatically included as SUBA mentees and do not need to submit a separate application. Please contact the center if you have questions about participation or activity arrangements.

모집 기간 내 수원대학교 포털의 종합정보시스템에서 온라인으로 신청하면 됩니다.

• 신청 경로: 종합정보시스템 → 학생지원 → 국제협력 → 외국인도우미 신청접수

• 선발 절차: 서류전형 → 면접전형

제출 서류, 면접 일정 등 세부 사항은 해당 학기 모집 공고를 확인해 주세요.

멘토는 여름·겨울방학 중 다음 학기 활동을 위해 모집합니다. 재학 중인 외국인유학생의 멘티 신청도 별도 모집 기간에 진행됩니다.

모집 일정과 자세한 내용은 외국인유학생지원센터 홈페이지 및 학생 커뮤니티에 게시되는 해당 학기 모집 공고를 확인해 주세요.

Mentors are recruited during summer and winter breaks for the following semester. Current international students who wish to join as mentees must also apply during the designated application period.

SUBA 멘토는 누가 지원할 수 있나요? 외국어를 잘해야 하나요?
Who can apply to be a SUBA mentor? Do I need strong foreign language skills?

외국인유학생과의 교류에 관심이 있는 수원대학교 재학생이라면 지원할 수 있습니다. 휴학생은 지원 대상에서 제외되며, 기존 SUBA 참여자도 다시 지원할 수 있습니다.

외국어 능통자는 우대하지만, 외국어를 잘하지 않아도 지원할 수 있습니다. 외국인유학생과 적극적으로 소통하고 활동에 성실하게 참여하려는 자세가 중요합니다.

Currently enrolled University of Suwon students who are interested in connecting with international students can apply. Students on a leave of absence are not eligible. Previous SUBA participants may apply again.

Foreign language proficiency is an advantage, but strong foreign language skills are not required to apply. A willingness to communicate with international students and participate responsibly is important.

What is the Global Ambassador SUBA program?

SUBA(Suwon University Buddy Assistant)는 멘토와 외국인유학생 멘티가 함께 활동하며 학교생활 적응과 문화 교류를 돕는 프로그램입니다. 멘토는 외국인유학생의 학업과 생활 적응을 돕고, 멘티는 필요한 도움을 받으며 다양한 교류 활동에 참여합니다. 서로의 언어와 문화를 배우고 함께 성장하는 것을 목표로 합니다.

SUBA (Suwon University Buddy Assistant) is a program that brings mentors and international student mentees together to support adjustment to university life and cultural exchange. Mentors help international students with their studies and daily life, while mentees receive support and take part in activities together. The program encourages participants to learn about each other’s languages and cultures and grow together.
